Many of my drawings are done using a drawing process called stippling, which creates patterns simulating varying degrees of solidity of shading by using small dots. In this instance, I not only created the owl through the use of these dots, but also the tule fog in the background.
This original Micron pen drawing is up for sale, beautifully framed and matted.
You can also purchase a reproduction of this drawing, printed on archival quality paper (Moab Entrada Rag Bright 190) with archival ink. Open edition, signed and dated.
I send all prints in a clear plastic sleeve with a cardboard backing so that they'll arrive to you in perfect condition.
All of my original drawings and prints are made with both archival quality paper and ink, meaning that there will be no fading or discoloration over time. Additionally, all of my prints fit into popular frame sizes (8 x 10 in., 11 x 14 in.), which means there will be no extra costs for you to have custom frames made.
It took 13 hours alone to do the stippling texture in the background of this drawing.
